Prompt for Thought: Think of an area where you are trying to do things for yourself instead of allowing God to take care of you. 

Prayer for the Journey: God, we admit it. Sometimes, we forget to allow you to be God all by yourself. In those times, gently tap us on the shoulders to remind us that you care deeply for everything that concerns us. Continue to be patient with us as we learn what’s our part versus yours. Please always give us the strength, trust, and faith to stay in our lane - especially when we think we know best. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
