Prompt for Thought: What is God telling you to do to create peace in this world today?

Prayer for the Journey: God, we have forgotten what you told us. You told us to love you and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Perhaps we don’t love ourselves enough because we don’t love you enough. Perhaps we don’t believe it is possible to love our neighbor. Perhaps we just don’t trust you enough to do what you ask. Whatever our issues God, please have mercy on our souls. Please don’t give up on us, even when we give up on ourselves and each other. Please help us to do the one thing you asked us to do, LOVE. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
